HeyGen has unveiled what it's calling "the world's first Creative Operating System" an AI agent that text prompts into complete ads, social media videos, and short films.
The system will work like an entire production team by finding narrative threads, writing scripts, selecting clips, and even casting AI actors to create polished final videos.

The newly rebranded Napster (yes, that Napster) has launched an AI platform that lets you interact with thousands of specialized AI avatars, each with different skills and personality traits. These digital companions include mental health experts, career strategists, chefs, and more — all capable of using tools, seeing what's on your screen, and maintaining memory of your past interactions. Users can try the platform for free for 15 minutes.

Toronto startup's optimization tech promises 30% power reduction
Nvidia has acquired Toronto-based CentML, a startup specializing in making AI models faster and more environmentally friendly through GPU optimization. Founded in 2022 by University of Toronto professor Gennady Pekhimenko, CentML's technology promises to help companies cut AI power consumption by up to 30%. The acquisition leverages Nvidia's massive $53.7 billion cash reserves and continues the company's strategy of absorbing innovative efficiency technologies.

Xiaomi launches AI-powered smart glasses with just 40g of weight and a minimalist design, powered by Snapdragon AR1 chip and with 12MP 2K camera, built-in speakers and mic. The model will have up to 8.6 hours of battery life (twice as long as Ray-Ban Meta). Some of the teased functions will be: live translation on the go, object, plant & face recognition, hands-free photo & video capture and QR payments, directly through the lenses.
Now avaible only in China with a launch price around €238 for the basic model.
