H-FARM's AI Club is a monthly community meetup that brings up to 500 people together in our beautiful H-FARM Campus to cut through the AI noise with real news, real cases, real debate. Join us on April 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. On stage this edition:

• Giuseppe Cinque (Principal Architect Learn at Cisco) will discuss how to build the skills and career paths needed to navigate AI, data, and cybersecurity — starting as early as your student years — and share insights from the AI Workforce Consortium Report 2025.

Meta's Superintelligence Labs, led by Alexandr Wang, shipped its first public model — Muse Spark — a proprietary multimodal system that handles voice, text, and image inputs. Meta claims Spark matches earlier systems like Llama 4 Maverick using over 10× less compute, with benchmarks competitive against Opus 4.6 and GPT 5.4 on reasoning tasks, though it trails on coding and ARC-AGI 2. A new "Contemplating" mode improves reasoning and multi-agent coordination. Notably, unlike the open-source Llama family, Muse Spark is fully proprietary — a major strategic shift that signals competitive pressure in the frontier model race. The model will integrate deeply across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads, with no committed timeline for open-source release.

Anthropic released Claude Managed Agents, a new API suite that lets businesses build and deploy cloud-hosted AI agents without managing their own infrastructure. The system handles secure code execution, authentication, checkpointing, scoped permissions, long-running sessions, and tracing out of the box. Agents can run autonomously for hours without losing state, with a multi-agent coordination mode available in research preview. Early enterprise adopters include Notion, Rakuten, Asana, Vibecode, and Sentry. Pricing sits at $0.08 per agent session hour on top of standard usage fees — aggressive pricing that positions this as a scalable alternative to building custom agentic infrastructure from scratch.

Elon Musk amended his lawsuit against OpenAI, redirecting all potential damages — exceeding $150 billion — to OpenAI's nonprofit arm and pushing to remove Sam Altman from its board. OpenAI responded by calling the move part of "a harassment campaign." The lawsuit, which also targets Microsoft, is expected to go to trial later this month in Oakland, California. Apple is reportedly planning to bring production of its upcoming Baltra ASIC chip in-house, a rollout consistent with the company's vertical integration strategy. The chip is expected to power both on-device and cloud-based AI workloads, reducing Apple's reliance on external partners for its growing AI infrastructure. The move follows the trajectory set by the M-series and A-series processors — positioning Apple more competitively against Nvidia and Google in the AI hardware race.
