Former engineer accused of taking Grok AI secrets to OpenAI

xAI has sued former engineer Xuechen Li for stealing trade secrets related to Grok's AI and imaginative features before starting at OpenAI earlier this month. The lawsuit claims that Li transferred sensitive data to OpenAI in July, right after he pocketed around $7M worth of xAI stock. New browser-based coding agent coming to compete with OpenAI

Anthropic is preparing a web version of Claude Code that will directly compete with OpenAI's Codex interface. The new platform will give developers direct access to a coding agent through a browser, eliminating the need for local setup. The web version will feature GitHub integration and secure sandboxes where code can be tested safely without requiring local installation. This move represents Anthropic's push to capture more of the developer market currently dominated by OpenAI's coding tools.

🩺 New AI stethoscope spots hidden heart problems 🩺

Imperial College London researchers developed an AI-powered stethoscope that improves early detection of heart conditions through advanced pattern analysis. Tested across 200 doctors' offices with over 12,000 patients, the device showed 2x rates of heart failure detection compared to traditional diagnostic tools. Patients examined with the device showed 3.5x higher detection of atrial fibrillation and nearly double the diagnosis rate for valve disease.
